Which Platform Do Czech Viewers Use Most Often to Receive TV Broadcasting?

In recent years, interest in IPTV has been growing, increasing its share of the TV market. IPTV or cable TV is now used as the main platform for receiving TV broadcasting by more than half of viewers (52%). By contrast, the number of satellite TV viewers is declining, and around one third of viewers remain loyal to Free-to-Air digital terrestrial broadcasting.

Czech viewers pay for TV services for a number of reasons. Almost half of them (49%) use Pay-TV operator services because of the option of catch-up TV. Other reasons include the ability to fast-forward advertising, watching TV channels on multiple devices, and access to channels that are not available via Free-to-Air terrestrial broadcasting.
