2025
Our portfolio continues to grow with the addition of series channels – AXN Black and AXN White. Another new addition is the local sports channel SPORTY TV.
2024
A few years later, the Atmedia CUP makes its return – bringing media agencies back together for a fun and competitive event.
2023
Fifteen years on the Czech TV scene - with over 30 million TV spots aired and some 800,000 GRPs delivered, our journey continues.
2022
With the launch of the Atmedia Index, we bring fresh insight into Czech Pay-TV and VOD market trends.
2021
We introduce our Expert Talks – a video podcast series featuring interviews with leading professionals from the television and media market.
2020
Our new partnership with Warner Bros. opens up access to key audiences – from lifestyle fans on TLC and documentary viewers on Discovery Channel, to sports enthusiasts on Eurosport 1 and, as of 2024, film and series lovers on Warner TV.
2019
We launch atblog – a platform featuring regular articles exploring the Czech TV market. At the same time, we publish our first sales offer brochure – combining commercial opportunities with valuable industry insights.
2018
Marking a decade on the Czech market, we publish the first edition of our Czech TV Market Insight – our first comprehensive guide to how the local television market operates.
2017
We team up with CANAL+ Group, initially bringing FilmBox into our portfolio. In the years that follow, the partnership grows to include FilmBox Stars and CANAL+ Action.
2016
Our portfolio expands with the addition of the thematic channels JOJ Family and JOJ Cinema, as we begin our cooperation with the Slovak media group JOJ Group.
2015
By joining the MML–TGI research study, we gain access to detailed data on Czech consumer behaviour – giving us a clearer picture of how our viewers shop, spend, and live.
2014
In our first five years on the Czech market, we placed 6 million commercial spots across our thematic TV channels, delivering around 170,000 GRPs to our clients.
2013
We become a member of the Association of Television Organisations and expand our channel portfolio through new partnerships. Our collaboration with Pohoda media group brings the Rebel music channel and the Relax lifestyle channel on board, while our extended partnership with the Československá filmová společnost adds CS Mystery and CS History to the existing CS Film.
2012
We publish the first edition of Atmedia Navigator – a comprehensive guide to the Czech TV market.
2011
We cooperate with half of all TV advertisers in the Czech Republic.
2010
We launch a unique strategy – advertising packages tailored for smaller TV channels with clearly defined target audiences. Our portfolio grows to include National Geographic, bringing the total number of thematic TV channels we represent to 15.
2009
We implement official TV audience measurement and adopt ‘GRP’ as the standard industry currency.
2008
Our entry into the Czech TV market marked the start of ad sales on thematic TV channels – with long-standing partnerships such as AXN, CS Film, or Disney Channel still part of our portfolio today.
